Daniel Wilbricht

Daniel Wilbricht

President

Daniel Wilbricht serves as president for Optiv + ClearShark, a cybersecurity and IT solutions provider focused exclusively on serving the U.S. federal government. He is also a member of Optiv’s executive leadership team focused on growing Optiv’s presence in the U.S. public sector.

Wilbricht has more than 25 years of experience in the public sector in various leadership roles across the channel ecosystem, including technology manufacturers, value-added resellers and distribution.

Most recently, Wilbricht served as general manager, senior vice president of Devo, where he led a team responsible for creating strategic technology relationships within the federal, state, local government agencies and higher education institutions. Prior to that, Wilbricht was vice president of Ivanti Public Sector, where he was instrumental in their growth and acquisitions. He also led sales teams at LogRhythm, Dell and Red Hat.

Wilbricht is a founding member and on the board of the Software in Defense Coalition, which advances and advocates for the need for faster American emerging technology adoption and highlights the integral role software plays in driving the country’s global strategic edge. He also is an active member of several boards.

Brian Strosser

Strategic Advisor

For over 30 years, Brian has focused his career on the success of the U.S. Public Sector, growing and leading successful teams, building meaningful industry and Government relationships, and having fun along the way.  This focus has been realized across various leadership roles across the channel eco-system including technology manufacturers, value-added resellers, and distribution.

Most recently, Brian served as President of DLT Solutions and was instrumental in their growth to $1B+ and ultimately the successful sale to Tech Data in December 2019.  As President, Brian was responsible for driving DLT’s strategic initiatives to align with the dynamic technology landscape while addressing the value required by DLT’s channel partners and the Government customer.

Brian launched his career working for two market leading value-added resellers, GTSI Corp and World Wide Technology.  During this time, Brian built a strong foundation working with customers across all aspects of the US Public Sector – Federal, State and Local, and Education; as well as, gaining experience working across hundreds of technology manufacturers.  For the next 10 years, Brian took his experience to the manufacturer community and lead sales teams for two companies relevant to the build out of datacenters – Sun Microsystems and NetApp.

Brian has been on the AFCEA DC Board of Directors and is a two-time winner of the FedScoop 50 award, which recognizes both public and private sector executives for their achievements and contributions to the government IT community.

In October 2021, Brian joined Optiv + ClearShark as President to drive the next phase of the company’s growth strategy.

When Brian is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, heading to any beach, and being a foodie.

Roger Niles

Vice President of Sales

Roger was born in North Platte, Nebraska and raised in Rolla, Missouri. He graduated from the University of Missouri – Rolla with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.

After graduation, Roger initially worked as an Application Engineer for Hubbell Power Systems prior to making the move into Product Management supporting a $40M product portfolio in the Americas and EMEA. His affinity for products and sales took him to Raleigh, NC where he joined NetApp as an Inside Sales Representative. Roger supported Government customers from the Air Force, Navy, Joint Commands; Departments of the Interior, Health & Human Services, and Energy before moving into an Account Manager role in Maryland solely supporting the Intelligence Community.

During his tenure at NetApp, Roger achieved over 200% of his goals for three consecutive years and was responsible for over $100M in revenue. Roger’s accomplishments were recognized with 5 President Club awards, as well as being named 2007 Account Manager of the Year for the U.S. Public Sector.

Roger brought his experience and knowledge of the Civilian Agencies, Department of Defense, and Intelligence Community to Optiv + ClearShark in 2010 and created a business unit whose focus on inception was primarily reseller business, but has since evolved to include the creation & implementation of custom technical solutions. Partnering with industry leaders such as Splunk, Nutanix, FireEye, Palo Alto Networks, NetApp, and F5, Optiv + ClearShark has recognized a 300% growth in the Sales Business Unit.

Roger’s enjoys golf, running, hunting, fishing, music, travel, spending time with his wife and two young children, and, always supporting his beloved St. Louis Cardinals.

Finn Ramsland

Vice President of Engineering and Technology

Finn Ramsland is the Vice President of Engineering and Technology at Optiv + ClearShark. He is responsible for sales engineering, engineering services, and the company’s technical direction.   Before beginning at Optiv + ClearShark in 2010, Finn spent 20 years in sales engineering with early stage companies such as Cisco Systems, Ascend Communications, Redback Networks, Procket Networks, IronPort, and Solera Networks.  Finn began his career as a computer scientist at the National Security Agency.  He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Towson University and an M.S. in Computer Science from the Johns Hopkins University.

Tom Mahoney

Vice President of Marketing

Thomas Mahoney is our Vice president of Marketing, where he brings more than 20 years of marketing experience for Fortune 100 companies, with over a decade of experience in sales and marketing in the U.S. public sector.

In his role at Optiv + ClearShark, Tom is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to support the company’s vendor community and growth goals. He is a customer-focused leader with a passion for delivering best-in-class cybersecurity solutions. With his extensive experience in marketing and the U.S. public sector, Tom is poised to help Optiv + ClearShark achieve its mission of managing cyber risk and providing innovative solutions to modernize and secure information technology within the government.

Thomas is a recognized thought leader in the U.S. public sector marketing community, having won the GAIN Marketer of the Year Award and named one of the 2023 CRN Channel Chiefs. He has also been a guest on industry podcasts and radio shows, including Modern Marketing Today and Federal News Radio Market Chat.

Prior to joining Optiv + ClearShark, Thomas served as vice president of marketing for TD SYNNEX Public Sector, where he created purpose-built marketing programs that increased brand awareness, drove demand and generated high-quality leads for some of the largest software companies in the U.S. public sector market. Tom joined TD SYNNEX from Navient, inc. where he held the position of managing director, business development operations for government.

Jon Teunis

Director of National Programs

Jon Teunis is Director, Special Programs at Optiv + ClearShark. Prior to joining Optiv + ClearShark in 2017 Jon held similar positions at F5 Networks, Commvault and Quantum. With a B.S. in Business Administration from Towson University, and an early start in the IT industry, Jon has been involved with IT transformations in basic storage and networking to today’s secure cloud infrastructures.

Andre Van der Post

VP of Operations

Andre has a passion for delivering strategic value and brings more than 20 years of strategic IT thought leadership and experience with organizations globally. His global experience covers the entire gamut of the IT industry, including product/solution development, IT strategic consulting, operational IT management, program delivery, product/service sales and Alliance and Channels management. This experience coupled with his obsession for the delivery of strategic value to Customers puts him in a unique position as it relates to his ability to deliver critical insights and advice to IT leaders, as well as manage teams responsible for systems delivery, consulting, and solution sales either directly to end customers or through partners. Andre is a constant learner and is always looking for ways to help deliver value through innovation and excellent delivery, but above everything he loves to help other people grow and succeed through active mentorship and coaching.

Don Tiaga

Vice President of Capture and Contracts Management

Don is Vice President of Capture and Contracts Management at Optiv + ClearShark. He oversees its consulting, contracting, proposal writing and sales services to federal resellers. He has over 26 years of experience in the technology public sector, in addition to his military career, and has managed multiple federal and state, local government and education (SLED) contracts valued at over $50 billion.

Don’s work in the IT field started during his service in the United States Air Force where he began working technical roles on large Department of Defense (DoD) contracts in the 1980’s. While leading the Air Force Small Computer Technical team in providing support for over 500,000 DoD users, he acquired the technical skills desired by the private sector and, after retiring from 20 years of service, was recruited by GTSI Corporation in 1995 to run their engineering systems teams, jump-starting a successful career in proposal writing and contract management.

Throughout his career in the federal arena, Don has been employed to step in and manage government contracts for multiple companies, and has been successful in increasing their overall sales revenue. Most notably, while at CDW-G, sales revenues increased from $30 million to over $700 million, and at Micro Warehouse, revenue exceeded $400 million. During his tenure at FedStore Corporation, revenue increased from $28 to $85 million in 2 years. Additionally, he has been recognized for his extensive experience winning and managing contracts. While at Micro Warehouse, his team won and managed 40 state/local and 6 federal contracts. At Merlin International, Don was directly responsible for winning multiple federal contacts, including three NASA SEWP 4 contracts which were awarded to Merlin, Three Wire Systems, and KnightPoint.
